Driving Tour

The driving tour will take place on Saturday, September 28 and will feature two unique and informative stops.  A continental breakfast and, later, lunch will be provided.  The tour will start at the Flying Leatherneck Museum at Miramar at 9:00 AM and finish at the Mechanized Museum on Camp Pendleton at approximately 2:00 PM.

9:00 AM Continental  Breakfast at the Flying Leatherneck  Aviation Museum at Miramar. Starting at 9:30 AM we will be treated to tours showcasing the only museum in the world dedicated to preserving the incredible contributions made by Marine Corps aviators and their ground support personnel.

11:00 AM the tour continues to the Marine Corps Mechanized Museum on Camp Pendleton. Lunch will be provided by Sizzler’s ZZ Truck upon your arrival at 12:00 PM. Master Gunnery Sergeant James C. King will take you through a tour of the Mechanized Museum, displaying military vehicles used from WWII to present day for mechanized operations all around the world.

The cost is $60.00 for car & driver, $20 for each additional passenger.  Please register early as spaces are limited!
